Bad Mom.  Not even a second after I clicked
the button, Kyri did a nose dive into her basket
of toys and now has a bruise between her
eyebrows.

Not feeling comfortable handing my 1 year old
a carving knife, I gave her finger paints instead.

And here is Rivi decorating her pumpkin.

When it's too cold to ride outside...

It's just a matter of time...

Come on Rivi, I'll catch you!

I'm a big girl to do this all by myself.

In our family, it takes two...

...to set a bad example.
Armed with Mom's socks, I will be at the height of fashion.

Because it was raining in the kitchen all day.

A chair is for sitting.

This is the biggest UFO in my entire neighborhood!

Ori, Surprise!

Rivi, Kyri and I picked up a kitten during this
morning's errands.  Rivi has already named him
Silly Tilly Gilly (Gilly or Gil for short).

We played in the dirt today.

Rivi made a lovely soil soup

And Kyri taste tested it

Rivi's first visit to the dentist was a success.
Her teeth are super healthy, not one spot of
decay (I would be surprised if there was) and
perfectly spaced.

The really amazing part, however, is how much
fun Rivi had having her teeth checked and polished
(she assumed her teeth would be pink like her
pink polished toenails).

And to top that, when Ori went to have his teeth
checked, the dentist walked into the room saying,
"that was the cutest girl.  She is only 3 years old.  It
was her first time at the dentist and when I asked her
how was it she said 'excellent'."
Ori proudly stated, "that's my daughter."   The
dentist assured us they had never had such a good
3 year old in that office.
The master and the apprentice

Not only has Kyri learned to climb up
onto the fireplace, but she's very interested in
that bright red light shining from beneath the
computer mouse.  I can't take my eyes off her
for a minute!

Kyri's hair is now long enough that it is almost
necessary to put frilly hair accessories in it.

Rivi, Kyri and I made challah, two loaves - one
sesame seed, one poppy seed

It was good!  So good, in fact, that Rivi, Ori and I
finished the sesame seed challah in one sitting.
Poor Kyri had already gone to bed.  She had some
today though.

Last night, way past bedtime, Rivi was showing
us her skill with a dry erase board and marker.
She drew a snowman, and a spoon and fork,
even a woman, which according to Rivi needs
beautiful arms and legs.  The most impressive
markings were not pictures, however, but letters
-RIVI.  Incredible.

Kyri is now drinking cow's milk.  She finds it
hilarious (as does Rivi) to spit it out of
her mouth, showering the floors, the table and
chairs, and me.

I bet you can't do this

Circles
Making Banana Bread

We did the Corn Maze at Neuman's Farm
early this year.  Although, it was said to
be easier than previous years, it still took
us 40 minutes to find our way out.

I found all the dead ends while Ori kept track of the girls.

PS.  Lorraine, Jason, Kagen and Beck, we could have
used your guidance.
