Tonight while using her MagnaDoodle, Rivi
suddenly drew her first person, complete with
eyes, nose, mouth, and hair. And then she drew
more and more, some with arms and legs too.

A bittersweet moment. Today, Rivi had her first
swimming lesson without me.


Her good friend Kagen gets to share the experience.


Immediately after swimming, I made her shovel
snow to really wear her out before nap time.

We finally gave in!
Rivi had her first haircut today - 3 inches shed.
She got to ride in a pink car and watch a Wiggles movie.
And after getting a phoofy hairstyle, she received a certificate
(with a lock of hair), a pink balloon, and a lollypop.
Why aren't my haircuts this much fun?


And Kyri? She doesn't have much hair, but she sure has
character. Here she is swimming laps in her crib.

Rivi started daycare today and enjoyed her first day so much that when I picked her up, she asked if she could stay and play. She gets to go to "school" (like Kagen) Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30ish to noon and I get to work on my constantly growing to do list.
