My poor, poor baby. 103.4 fever and miserable. The doctor confirmed that she has the H1N1 flu, so now it's Tamilflu, Tylenol and constant monitoring for the next few days.

The rest of us had the flu last week, but without the high fever. Still, Ori, Rivi and I happily rolled up our sleeves for the H1N1 vaccination during Kyri's appointment. When the nurse asked who wanted to go first, Rivi hopped off Ori's lap, ran to the appointed chair and said "me, me." She watched the nurse stab her, but didn't even flinch. Said ouch, then went along merrily.

I forbid any other bug from entering my home this year.

Last week was a quiet week at home because Rivi had the flu. This week will be another so Kyri can fight this bug.

First day of Kindergarden.

Rivi is going to do well. As we walked her to school, Rivi socialized with neighborhood kids and strode confidently along the sidewalk. Upon arrival, she immediately struck up a conversation with an older kindergardener and yelled over her shoulder "bye mom and dad" as she happily walked into the building.
