Nice 2016 - Villefranche-sur-Mer

Villefranche-sur-Mer - August 21

Villefranche-sur-Mer, which took us a month to learn how to pronounce, is the next town up the coast from Nice. If Mount Boron wasn't between them, it would be hard to tell where one city ends and the other begins. It's picturesque in that Italian-influenced, French Riviera kind of way.

In the old part of Antibes, the city was overrun with art by Nicolas Lavarenne. 

I think we managed to see all 19 sculptures.

Nice 2016 - Grasse

Grasse

You won't be able to tell by the pictures, but Grasse is the perfume capital of the world. 

It is an old mountain town just outside of Nice.

Nice 2016 - Ori's Birthday

Ori's Birthday - St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

When asked what he wanted for his birthday, Ori said he wanted to go to the Alps. We researched it, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. So instead of hiking the Alps, we hiked around St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. 

Happy 44th!

It was an awesome hike, with great views of the Mediterranean,

playgrounds,

and art.
